A PubMed alert forwards everything that matches a query. Scienda additionally classifies each article by topic and filters it by the journal's scientific rank — you decide, per topic, the minimum rank and the article types you want. Editorials, letters and errata are excluded automatically.

Each specialty is split into topics that follow where its literature actually is: how much is published on a subject, and how that volume is trending. The split comes out of our own process rather than from an off-the-shelf taxonomy, and it is revised periodically to keep the topics balanced — none broad enough to swallow your digest, none so narrow that it stays empty for weeks.

Each article links to its PubMed record; full-text access depends on the journal and your institution's subscriptions. Scienda selects and routes — it does not host papers.
