Version 2 Effective: 16 October 2026
FrançaisRefund and Cancellation Policy
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service.
In one sentence
Full refund on request within 14 days of any charge. No conditions, no justification, whatever use you made of the service.
Email [email protected]. We refund to your original payment method.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time, online, in a single step, using the "cancel your contract" button in your account. No phone call, no letter, no reason required — and no retention offer standing in your way.
| What happens | |
|---|---|
| Monthly plan | access continues to the end of the month you paid for, then stops. Nothing further is charged |
| Annual plan | access continues to the end of the year you paid for, then stops. Nothing further is charged |
| 60-day trial | the trial stops and nothing is charged, provided you cancel before day 60 |
| 30-day trial, no card | nothing to do — it ends by itself and nothing is ever charged |
We then email you when your contract ends and what that means for your access.
Cancelling does not delete your account. Your preferences stay in place in case you come back. You can ask us to erase your data separately, at any time.
Getting a refund
The 14-day promise
Any charge can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of it. We ask no questions, and having read digests in the meantime makes no difference.
How. One message to [email protected]. We acknowledge it, refund to your original payment
method, and confirm. How fast the money appears is then up to your bank.
After 14 days
Beyond that window the current period is not refunded, but you can cancel at any time: you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing further is charged.
Two exceptions, where a refund is due regardless of timing:
- The service does not conform to what was promised — for EU consumers the statutory guarantee in Section 13 of the Terms applies for the whole life of the subscription, and a refund is then due pro rata for the non-conforming period, even if you used the service;
- We end the contract, or discontinue the service — we refund pro rata whatever you paid for and did not receive.
Your legal rights, which sit on top of all this
This policy is a commercial commitment. It replaces none of your rights and restricts none of them.
Right of withdrawal — EU consumers, 14 days from sign-up
You have 14 days from the day your contract is formed to withdraw, with no reason and no cost.
⚠️ That period runs from sign-up, not from the first charge. Where sign-up includes a free trial, the trial does not extend the period — it overlaps it.
Three ways to exercise it, detailed in Section 8.2 of the Terms:
- online, using the "withdraw from your contract here" button, available throughout the withdrawal period, with a timestamped acknowledgement on a durable medium;
- by email to
[email protected], using the model withdrawal form or any unambiguous statement; - by post.
We refund within 14 days of being told.
⚠️ One caveat. Because the service starts as soon as you sign up, we ask you — on two separate boxes — to expressly request immediate performance and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. Those two boxes are not shown during the 30-day trial without a payment method: with no obligation to pay, the right of withdrawal is not lost there (see Section 8.2 of the Terms of Service). In practice the 14-day promise above covers you anyway — that is exactly why it exists.
Statutory guarantee of conformity
For EU consumers, Articles L224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code apply for the whole life of the subscription, and the burden of proof is on us. See Section 13 of the Terms.
If we refuse a refund
We give reasons in writing.
Send a complaint to [email protected] first. If it is not resolved within two months, EU
consumers may refer the matter free of charge to our consumer mediator:
Médiation de la Consommation & Patrimoine (MCP) — 12 square Desnouettes, 75015 Paris — https://www.mcpmediation.org
Mediation is free and optional and takes away no legal remedy. For cross-border EU disputes, the European Consumer Centre France can also help.
